HHMC Outlaws Brawl: A Cross-platform Battlefield on the Blockchain coming to Polygon and Android!
The best gaming project to come out of Cardano goes cross-chain AND cross-platform!
HHMC: Outlaws Brawl is a first and third-person F2P & P2E NFT project built on Unreal Engine coming to Polygon and Android in February! Outlaws Brawl is not your typical web3 game, produced by HHMC Studios and having been in development for over a year, it’s primed to be one of the premier P2E games in the next wave of highly playable, player-owned experiences.
Introducing Outlaws Brawl
You will play as one of 2 clans: Hyenas or Coyotes across 1 of 3 unique environments. Outlaws Brawl can be played in either first- or third-person mode and is similar to traditional shooter games such as Counter-Strike, but with the implementation of vehicles and a conquest mode, more similar to the Battlefield franchise.
Up to now, players have downloaded the client on PC and verified their account via either Nami or ETRNL wallets native to Cardano, however, this month users will be able to play the game on PC by connecting their Polygon Wallet, or as an app downloadable on the Google Play store and playable on any Android device — with no blockchain wallet necessary. This represents a huge step forward for accessibility and a technical hurdle many Web3 projects are unable to overcome.
Three unique locations
HHMC successfully launched their primary collection on the Cardano ecosystem back in September 2022 with the release of their first map ‘Nomenzville’, a block of high-rise buildings encapsulating a central park. Users with NFTs have been able to progress via the Battle Pass and unlock additional NFTs and rewards.
Android users can get stuck into Town of Nazzrah in the Eastern Chapter. Reminiscent of a war-torn Middle Eastern hell-hole, this will be the perfect mission for Hells’ Hyenas. Polygon (PC) and Android users will be able to play this map together. The mobile gaming market has eclipsed traditional games over the past couple of years and we are expecting big things from HHMC with this one. Polygon users can expect access this month to Apocalypse in the Northern Chapter. In the video hosted on the HHMC YouTube channel (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XmyoUPrbv3) you can see a player entering the Helicopter seen in the image below before landing on a rooftop to capture the objective. With a server capacity of 1000s of players, footage like this gets us really excited and gives us strong Battlefield vibes!
Initially, only the Eastern Chapter will support cross-platform play but we can expect all maps to feature this by the end of Q1 2023.
Doing all the right things
HHMC Studios have made some key strategic partnerships with bltzr.gg, one of the leading names in Web3 gaming, BLTZR will be coordinating the mint of their Polygon collection of playable Coyote NFTs, and yesports.gg, the worlds’ largest web3 eSports engagement platform –who are hosting Convergence 2023, a large-scale digital event hosted by yesports.gg and backed by Polygon Studios where HHMC will make an appearance. HHMC Studios clearly know how important it will be to onboard gamers to populate their maps and servers which gives us much excitement and enthusiasm leading up to the launch of the new maps and platform.
